Who it's for
These homes are meant for first-time homebuyers who will live in the home themselves. We expect buyers to need to meet income and program requirements. Full details are coming soon. Here's what we can share now:
The homes are intended for first-time buyers who qualify through Utah Housing Corporation financing programs. In general, that means you haven't owned a primary home in the last three years. Some exceptions apply.
Buyers must live in the home as their primary residence. The homes will carry a recorded deed restriction that limits renting and resale for a set period.
Household income limits are expected to apply. Limits are set by the program and may depend on household size.
Eligible buyers may qualify for state down-payment or closing-cost assistance for newly built homes. That assistance is typically repayable when the home is sold or refinanced. A participating lender confirms eligibility.
Details coming soon. Eligibility rules, pricing and the application process aren't final yet. Join the interest list and we'll let you know when they are. Joining the list doesn't guarantee eligibility or a home, and it isn't an application.
